Team involvement rules of the 2014 off- road car models championship:


1) General
Teams can have 4 to 6 members. Team member can be any class participant. One participant can be a member of only one team . Each team must select a member to represent the team (which we shall call the captain). A team must have a name . All teams participate in the annual championship . Team standings are calculated in all championship competitions . At the end of the season a team which collects the most points will be awarded.

2 ) Scoring
Each race best results of four members of the team will be counted . Points are awarded depending on the place taken and the number of participants in the class according to the following formula (number of participants in the class) - (taken place) + (1) = (number of points) . Only one class results for each team member are calculated, regardless of the number of classes he attends .

3 ) Team Registration
Applications for team registration must be sent by e-mail: igoris(at)kadabra.lt . Teams are registered for the entire 2014 off-road championship. One-time registration fee is 70Lt (paid during the race), subsequent modification of the team - 20Lt.

4 ) Why to join the team?

5 ) Why build a team?
For the teams new special forum section is created. You can advertise on the home page. Team name is shown next to member name. Visible team members tires and fuel used... And countless other things.

First 2014 Lithuanian off-road competition - HOBBYSHOP cup

The first race started in Lithuania with winter and -15 degree cold outside. However, this did not prevent participants from five different countries come to Panevezys „Aurida“ track. Lithuanians, Latvians, Estonians, Poles and Finns gathered. During registration, 93 participants registered in the competition and 78 participants came, unafraid of a long road, and severe cold in winter.
Competition was held in the following classes: 1/8 Nitro Buggy, 1/8 Electric Buggy, 1/5 - 1/6 Petrol, 1/10 Electric Beginner and 1/10 Electric Modified.


1/8 Buggy Electric class was attended by about 30 participants, a fierce battle took place. For winning places battled Wojciech Rzepecki, Taurius Sinkevicius and Igoris Vilčinskas. Qualification for the first place won Igor Vilčinskas after that he won the first and the third final runs and secured the first place. Having started even 8th Sinkevicius overtook opponents one after the other in the second finals and managed to come first, but in other final runs he failed to climb so high in the final standings and came in second. In particular, stable and fast ride showed Wojciech Rzepecki. Young sportsmens from Poland was very near for climbing one step higher on podium, but in this race he went for the third place.

In 1/8 Nitro Buggy class struggle was in full swing from the first laps. In the first 15 minutes the first top five raced next to each other and the positions changed almost every bend. In qualifications and finals first place was challenged by Estonian Jörg Miikael Tiit but after engine failure in the final he finished his performance. After his failure the first place was taken by Taurius Sinkevicius. For the following places fought even four athletes: Kuldar Ilus, Igoris Vilčinskas Robin Ilus and Sarunas Zabulionis. Fighting continued until the last lap, and due to small mistakes family duo Kuldar Ilus and Robin Ilus overtook Lithuanians. They shared second and third places.

In 1/5 - 1/6 Petrol class competitors from Finland arrived. It is worth mentioning that their cars were really powerful. Sarunas Cijunaitis with HPI Baja 5B SS and rear wheel drive could not stood against the Finnish "monsters" with four-wheel drive. But we were pleases that Sarunas was not affraid to get in the way of Finns as he took the last place, but had a great time. Also we heard that Finns are planning to come to the next competiton, so are there Lithuanians who can resist them?

In 1/10 Electric Beginner class made its debut new race kazimieras Mykolaitis ant left everyone without even slightest hope. He demonstrated fastest time in qualifying and finals. Andrius jankauskas from Panevezys, only this time with a new four-wheel-driven car took second place. We wish him success and in other races not the second, but the first place. The third place winner was Nojus Slavickas.

In 1/10 Electric Modified class gathered 9 players who had a really fierce battle. Strongly improved Karolis Butkevicius confidently defeated in qualifying and for this was awarded with "Top Qualification" cup. Final winner, among these sportsmen: Igoris Vilčinskas, Hendrik Lainemäe and Karolis Butkevicius, revealed only after the third final race. It is worth mentioning that all sportsmen had first places in different final races, so the real winner was nominated after one of two best final runs.
